i got my Geo folio back today! haha 'joy-ousness'! i full mark of 30% plus an additional 'bagus' above the mark! W00t! Bring out the fireworks! Literally, the average everyone got in the class was 29 to 30%. So now it brings my marks to a total 86%! haha, just one mark above my mom's liking. My Science was not to shabby either. A sweet 84%! Seni was 88% but who really cares?! Sejarah sadly was merely 62%... off to tuiton for me!... angeline half-heardtedly lended me her Deception Point book for the weekend. I sensed I would be bored to tears in S'pore. after school, my mom brought me home to get ready for the trip down to S'pore at 4 pm. Once 4 pm came, we went out to pick up my dad and we were off on the PLUS, going through toll after toll, and stopping at a R&R area. Pagoh i think... We had dinner and I guiltily used the money I was saving for someone's present and bought a Brownie Sundae from The Baskins & Robins that was situated nearby. cost me RM 14.10! Once we reached the immigration, (both immigration) we spent some time on the PIE highway and reached Kevin's Hostel. Raffles Hostel... Quite fancy some might say. His school will be situated next to the hostel next year. How lucky. We picked him up and got down to ifnding the Golden Landmark hotel that was somewhere after Arab Street. A mediocre hotel I'd say... nothing much to brag about. After unpacking, we didn't go anywhere and watched tv in the room. I got down to reading the Deception Point and managed to cover around 30-40 chapters i think. Sleep. Full stop. :D

Woke up fairly early, 7.30 am. we waited a while for my sis and bro to wake up next door. (two rooms, my dad booked) around 7.50, we went down for breakfast while my dad stayed in the hotel room cuz there was only 4 breakfast vouchers for today and tomorrow. He said he had enough of Hotel food due to travelling a lot. The breakfast wasn't really all that. Just looking at it makes your appetite less hungry. But still, it's good enough. There was cereal, vegetable samosa, meehoon, scrambled eggs and bacon, chutney, porridge and a pot of corn beef with onions which if at first glanced looked like someone had prepeared dogfood for the diners... but hey, it's S'pore! ;) no la...jk jk... we brought back up some food for dad. After that, we dropped my bro off at school for something he had to do. Then, the four of us went to Sentosa Island to explore. Cost us 10 Sing dollars, which is equivalent to 22 ringgit. Exchange rate rose... anyway, on the island, i really hv no idea what was so special about it. It's like the S'poreans had never seen a beach before... total time spent on Sentosa Island: aprox. 75 minutes. Me and my mom went to Seiyu to walk around while my sis and dad went to Sim Lin Square to buy a spanking new digital camcorder. In Seiyu, I saw this pair of pants which had this cool khaki belt on it. It was a khaki colour without a buckle but instead those kind with two loops to lock the belt together. ehem ehem, hint hint! My birthday is soon January next year, I wouldn't mind one! I also finally found something as a present... took me long enough and I never thought I'd find it in a Watson store in Singapore. of all places...Then soon after, I got my first look at Octopus Balls. They looked yummy but my mom didn't want to buy it because it costed 2 dollars: 4.40 ringgit. after that, we went to Burger King nearby. We found a coupon thing on the table and used it to buy our meal. I ate a Turkey Bacon burger with a Taro Turnover. We also got cheese sticks with our burgers. We got back and rested in the room, the parents and kevin went out to buy his Puma shoes, while me and my sis went to the swimming pool to get a tan... only got a small one though... I got through to reading more of Deception Point and stopped at around chapter 60 or so... We went out to East Coast for dinner. The crabs that we ate were HUMONGOUS! literally... all i ate was a pincer and i ald had enough. but i'm not to keen on going back there cuz i don't seem to like huge crabs. We went to the other side to buy some 'bbq rojak' and fruit rojak plus some coconut juice. We went back to the hotel to indulge on them. the bbq rojak was so freakin' spicy... it made my go to the toilet twice... I couldn't take it. so i ate the fruit rojak instead. Brush teeth, sleep. End of day two.

Woke up a bit later and found myself on the other end of the bed for some bizarre reason... Went to breakfast, this time kevin slept in the room while the rest of us went down. The menu didn't really change from yesterday. The 'dog food' was still there. what changed was this time sausages, spring rolls and fried rice. went back upstairs, rested. continued reading the book. at around 11.30, we checked out. GOt into the car and went to Thompson Area to buy Haagen-Dazs. Rum n' Raisin and Strawberry Cheesecake! Mmmm... 'Delish'. Then we went to a Department Store called Four Seasons. nothing special. We ate lunch in the cafe upstairs. Mom and sis had fish and the rest had lamb chop. during lunch, a movie called Passport to Paris starring the then young and still quite cute Olsen twins. We then finished and went to seond off kevin to his hostel. He got the chance to drive around inside the hostel for a while. Said our final goodbyes and left for the immigration. During the journey, I read the book until chapter 104! W00t! The journey was around 4 hours and we reached PJ at 7.15. Ate dinner in SS2 and headed for home. Busy day indeed. And I hvaen't even done my maths homework... ai...
ciao... signing off...
